CAST OF THE MONTH- JUNE
This months invited angler to share a cast of flies is Graeme Callander who says -
The weather should have warmed, and the daylight hours will have lengthened by June. The quantity and diversity of trout food items will be reaching a peak and fish are in top condition. They can now afford to be selective of what, and when to eat. Flashy, attracter patterns, which were successful earlier in the year, may now be spurned by fish which have developed an eye for the edible. The following is a reliable cast of flies which can be fished on a floating line from the bank or an intermediate line from the boat.
