Cast of the Month- July- David Mcmillan Junior

Picture
David's Grey Boy
Tail ,body, thorax cover thorax and beard,-Mallard
 Rib - silver  wire
A good suggestive nymph at it's best swung dead drift across the breeze on the point position of a floating line from the bank.

Picture
David's Emerger
Sparse black seal's fur body, clear buzzer wrap rib, a sparse deer hair wing, claret seals fur thorax well brushed out, another sparse deer hair tuft in front of it, a turn of grizzle cock as the head hackle and medium mirage cheeks. (the deer hair is mainly a scaffolding to hold the seals fur of the thorax away from the hook.)

'I will normally fish the emerger on the tail having applied some floatant to the deer hair and the seal's fur of the thorax with the buzzers on the droppers. The best lines for this are the floater and midge tip when fish are bulging just under the surface'.

Picture
David's Olive Buzzer
Olive dyed pheasant tail body, black thread/flexi-floss/blob-tail rib, mirage collar, Jungle cock splits as cheeks, hare's ear head and white aero wing breathers tied in bow-tie style.

Picture
David's Black Buzzer:
Globrite floss butt (very small), black pheasant tail body, clear buzzer wrap rib, black seal's fur thorax, white aero-wing breathers, natural pheasant tail thorax cover (tied in extending over the eye and pulled back over the thorax and tied in with the tips uncovered. The thorax is in effect tied in backwards to accentuate the affect of the blunt front end of a buzzer).
